Tri-County Electric is a specialty electrical service contractor with capabilities in large-scale commercial, institutional and industrial projects. We design and build power distribution and data communication systems in diverse and often highly complex environments, including technology-intensive facilities in healthcare, manufacturing and biotech; heavy industrial and hazardous (classified) locations; and a wide range of other private and public-sector environments.
Our people make the difference.
As a labor-intensive business, we focus on what makes us strong.
- We invest in our workforce as a strategic asset. All field employees are licensed electricians, and we have a number who are master-level electricians or on-track to achieve this designation.
- The tenure of our workforce is three times the national average for our industry.
- Since 1975, we have operated a four-year commercial electrician apprenticeship program certified by the US Department of Labor and based on NCCER curriculum standards.
- Our professional staff, with backgrounds in engineering and design, collaborates closely throughout project pre-planning to “fill in the blanks,” and anticipate threats to work flow and efficiency. In-house CAD technicians use Building Information Modeling (BIM), a form of 3D drafting technology and a powerful visualization tool which supports owner engagement and serves to reduce on-site downtime and contribute to predictable results.
