Tri-County Electric began operations in 1969, and has been a wholly owned subsidiary of Penn Line Service since 1987. Based in Elkins, West Virginia, Tri-County currently employs +/-120 people in its operations. 

 The success of Tri-County starts with its employees. An apprenticeship training program, recognized by the U. S. Department of Labor, guides new hires through an 8,000-hour curriculum, providing them with an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the electrical field. Coupled with experienced and skilled tradesmen, estimators, project managers and engineers, the Tri-County team is capable of tackling the most challenging projects.

We pride ourselves as a contractor capable of handling the larger projects, yet small enough to provide the service you have come to expect from smaller contractors.  Our experience is in commercial, educational, industrial, institutional, medical and retail facilities.
