Recently Dave Talbott announced his retirement after 25 years of service for Tri County Electric Company, Inc.

Dave started working for Tri County Electric in 1975 as a master electrician. He bagan his career at Tri County Electric as a foreman for a restaurant project in the State Capitol Building, Charleston, West Virginia.

From that point forward, he became an integral part of various types and sizes of work. Some of the larger projects include:

Davis Memorial Hospital renovation
Mountaineer Expansion
Putnam General Hospital
Veterans Hospital, Clarksburg
Mon General Hospital, Morgantown
Dadison Hall West Virginia University

Although he has retired he will be working for the Davis Health System as an Electrical Consultant when needed.

Interests

Dave and his wife, Barbara, share the same interest in flying, which is how they met. Now that Dave is retired, they plan on traveling either by land or air as much as they can. Since he has his flying instructor's license, he also expresses an interest in teaching flight lessons on a part-time basis.

Family

Between the two of them, Dave and Barbara have one son, four daughters and four grandchildren. Denise resides in Phoenix, AZ with her husband and three children. Susan has her masters degree in Biology and lives in Chestertown, MD. Rebecca is an undergraduate at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. Kathleen lives in Richmond, VA with her husband and newborn son and has her masters degree in Business. The youungest, Allen, resides in Elkins, West Virginia and is an undergraduate in Theater at Davis & Elkins College.

We wish Dave the best of luck in the years to come and hope he enjoys his retirement years.
