Penn Line Service became active in hydroseeding,
erosion control and tree planting as a result of our participation in the
Interstate Highway program of 1955. It was Penn Line Service who
led the way in applying crown vetch for erosion control. We were
one of the first contractors to use a power driven hydroseeder for seeding
and mulching. With a fleet of ten 3,000 gallon hydroseeders and twelve
high performance mulchers we are currently considered one of the largest
on the East Coast providing this service.
